Sophia Recovery Centre is a comforting place for women to heal and live healthier, safer, and happier lives.
We believe in the power of compassion, community and connection.
As a volunteer, you not only share your skills with the women we support but may also find connections for yourself.
Volunteering roles include opportunities to offer informal peer support and also occasional opportunities to serve on committees or our Board of Directors.
Join us at Sophia where we help our community reach long-term recovery.
Who can be a volunteer?
For peer support volunteering roles at Sophia, lived experience of the impacts of addiction and the recovery process is necessary.
Other roles are open to all with a passion for making a difference in our community - please contact us to discuss.
Who do I contact?
If you are interested in face-to-face volunteering at one of our centres please email us at Volunteering@
Community members who are interested in creative, administrative, fundraising and outreach tasks can contact our Executive Director, Julie Atkinson firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can get involved.
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Sophia Recovery Centre.
