Meetings are open to all women seeking support with their substance use or addictive behaviour (eg gambling, shopping, etc)...If you require a support person to attend a meeting with you, they are also welcome (support persons must also be women).
No, there are no fees. All programs and services are free.
Sophia programs offer trauma-informed support, and sometimes sensitive information is discussed. In order to maintain a safe and confidential environment, children are not permitted to attend meetings. However, babies who are attached by a carrier to their mom or caregiver are welcome.
We have a variety of in-person activities and also meetings and appointments that can be accessed via Zoom. Contact us and we will help you connect with support in the format that is best for you.
Yes! We always have coffee brewing and you are welcome to come to the centre if you’re needing company. Open House times are posted.
Certified service animals are welcome. Please note that proof of certification is required.
We do not have a need for toiletries or clothing. Donations of pantry items for our kitchen, such as coffee, tea and sugar are always welcome. Our greatest need is for financial support for our operational costs.
